Mark your calendar and plan to attend the next quarterly Active Assailant in the Health Setting, More than an Active Shooter at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019. This session will be at the Pozez Education Center at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka. Topics include: Situational Awareness, Effective Communication Skills to Diffuse Conflict, Surviving an Active Shooter Event and Moral Obligations of Healthcare Workers. The session is open to any health care facilities in Kansas. The $15 registration fee includes lunch.
